Qualifications and Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active Illinois SLP licensure (or eligibility)
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status welcome
- Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Passion for supporting diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group therapy sessions for students in K-12 settings
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement IEPs in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to foster student achievement
- Track student progress and maintain thorough, compliant documentation
- Serve as a resource for school staff on best practices in communication and language development
