The Designated Operator will be responsible for scheduling and conducting inspections for a portfolio of mandated 30-day Underground Storage Tank (UST) inspections. Must follow Designated UST Operator procedures and perform all duties of the Designated UST Operator on behalf of the client. A TAIT service vehicle will be provided. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Schedule site visits and travel to 50+ UST facilities per month using a personal or company vehicle. Complete monthly UST inspection checklists accurately and submit them on time. Enter and submit inspection data using company laptops and web-based systems. Train facility personnel and clearly explain inspection observations. Immediately report noncompliance risks and follow all company safety procedures. Minimum Qualifications and Skills Current or previous ICC Designated UST Operator certification and related experience. Knowledge of UST systems and applicable operating regulations. Proficiency with computers, email, Microsoft programs, and web-based applications. Ability to review reports, conduct training, and communicate professionally with clients. Valid driver’s license with strong organization, scheduling, and independent-work skills. Physical and Additional Requirements Complete background check, MVR, physical examination and drug screening. Ability to drive extensively, occasionally up to 1,000 miles per week. Ability to safely walk across dirt, asphalt, cement, and other uneven surfaces. Ability to speak clearly and professionally when communicating with clients. Ability to read and interpret inspection and equipment diagnostic reports. Salary and Benefits Salary range for position: $22/hr. -$28/hr.
