Bookkeeper Position

New Creation Labels & Packaging is a Marietta, Georgia-based custom label and packaging company serving businesses with high-quality, customized printing solutions. We are looking for a detail-oriented, dependable Bookkeeper to join a small, close-knit company where your work truly matters. With just 19 employees, this is an environment where people know one another, work as a team, and take pride in creating a positive and supportive workplace. The position is primarily onsite, but we recognize that life doesn't always fit neatly into a schedule. The company offers considerable flexibility around daytime working hours and the ability to work from home when circumstances require it. We're looking for someone who values being part of an in-person team while also appreciating a workplace that trusts its employees and provides flexibility when needed.

As Bookkeeper, you will play an important role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the company's day-to-day financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Record and maintain daily financial transactions
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements
• Prepare invoices and process payments
• Maintain the general ledger and financial records
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting
• Prepare tax-related documentation and assist with tax filings
• Monitor cash flow and identify and report financial discrepancies
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
• Maintain organized financial files and documentation
• Collaborate with accountants and auditors during financial reviews

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
• Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and accounting practices
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to handle confidential financial information with integrity
• Experience preparing financial statements preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
