Staff Accountant or CPA
Our client, a leading organization in the Food and Beverages industry is seeking a Staff Accountant or CPA to join their team in a permanent position. As a Accountant, you will be part of the Finance Department supporting the accounting and financial reporting functions. Working directly with the Controller.
Job Title: CPA/ Accountant On-Site
Location: Tampa, FL
Pay Range: $60000 - $75000 (DOE)
Shift: Full Time In Office, 8AM to 5PM Monday-Friday (Times may vary as business needs dictate)
What's the Job?
- Manage daily general ledger entries and support month-end closing activities
- Reconcile daily cash receipts and manage bank deposits
- Review, research, and clean-up aged open items to ensure accuracy
- Assist with vendor setup, payments, and data analysis using vending and micro-market software platforms
- Prepare financial reports, perform account reconciliations, and analyze financial data for unusual trends
What's Needed?
- 3 years experience closing month end independently.
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting or financial experience with increasing responsibilities (REQUIRED)
- Proficiency in MS Office products including proficiency in Excel (REQUIRED)
- Experience with QuickBooks Online and SAP Business One (a PLUS)
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with a focus on accuracy and detail
- Bachelor's degree in accounting and/or finance
