Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in History or a closely related field from an accredited institution. Demonstrated expertise in one or more historical periods or themes relevant to the courses offered. Experience in teaching at the college or university level. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse student populations. Ability to develop course materials and assessments that meet academic standards. Preferred Qualifications: Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in History or related discipline. Experience with online or hybrid teaching modalities. Record of scholarly research or publications in the field of history. Familiarity with digital tools and resources for history education. Experience mentoring students from diverse backgrounds. Responsibilities: Prepare and deliver lectures and course materials for assigned history classes in a clear and engaging manner. Develop syllabi, assignments, and assessments that align with course objectives and academic standards. Provide timely and constructive feedback on student work to support their academic growth. Hold regular office hours to advise and mentor students on academic and career-related matters. Participate in departmental meetings and collaborate with faculty to enhance the history program.
