We are currently seeking a Sales Account Representative to join our retail sales team, focusing on delivering telecommunications solutions, including phone, television, and high-speed internet services. This is a full-time, W2 direct hire position offering a structured, customer-facing sales environment inside established retail locations.
This role is designed for individuals who excel in face-to-face interactions and are motivated by both customer experience and performance-based results. The Sales Account Representative will be responsible for managing customer relationships, driving new account activations, and maintaining a high standard of service throughout the sales process.
Position Overview
As a Sales Account Representative, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers within the retail environment. You will guide customers through available products and service packages, ensuring each interaction is informative, efficient, and tailored to their needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with customers in a retail setting to provide professional, consultative sales support
- Present and explain telecommunications products and bundled service options
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions to drive conversions
- Process new account enrollments, upgrades, and service activations accurately
- Manage customer accounts and maintain detailed records using internal CRM systems
- Address customer questions, concerns, and objections with professionalism
- Stay current on product knowledge, promotions, pricing, and competitive offerings
- Support daily retail operations, including maintaining organized displays and workspace standards
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve sales targets and performance goals
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build rapport and provide solution-based recommendations
- Comfortable working in a customer-facing, retail environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Previous experience in sales, retail, customer service, or hospitality is preferred but not required
