About the Position

Job Title: Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Med/Surg Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night and Day Rotating Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 12 months of permanent experience in specialty License: Permanent Ohio license or compact state license required Certifications: AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS & NIHSS certification required Must-Have: - 12 months of permanent experience in specialty applying for - Active required certifications in hand at time of submission - Must work at least every other holiday Description: Seeking a Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse. Position involves potential floating to various units to care for the same patient population. Shifts will rotate between 7 pm – 7:30 am and 7 am – 7:30 pm. Shifts may vary to meet the operational needs of the facility. All start date and scheduling information must be accurate at the time of submission, as changes cannot be made afterward. Traveler must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments during orientation. An acceptable score is required, with two attempts maximum to pass. Applicants with any background checks on their record will be reviewed, but those with open cases will not be accepted. Open cases on licensing will not be accepted. All traveling nurses must comply with nicotine-free requirements, with specific exemptions for certain roles. Travel candidates returning to the facility must complete annual hands-on competency if they attended agency orientation in the prior year. Annual modules required for compliance will be recorded and may require a specified number of billable hours. Candidates will not be eligible for resubmission if they do not meet the established guidelines.
