Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med/Surg/Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night and Day rotating shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 12 months permanent experience in the specialty License: Permanent license or compact state license required Certifications: AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required Must-Have: - 12 months permanent experience in specialty applying for - Ohio license or compact state license in hand - Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications - One reference from a manager or supervisor in the specialty required - Able to work every other holiday Description: This position involves providing care on a Med/Surg Tele unit. The nurse may float to care for patients in similar populations as needed. Shifts will rotate between nights and days, requiring flexibility. The facility will do its best to honor preferred shifts but reserves the right to change as needed. ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments will take place during orientation. An acceptable score on both assessments is required to continue in this position. Travelers must adhere to compliance and certification requirements. All nursing staff must comply with nicotine-free policies, with specific exemptions noted.
