About the Position

Job Title: Med/Surg Tele RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night and Day shifts rotating Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year of combined permanent experience in the specialty applying for required. License: Must have a permanent Ohio license or compact license in hand at the time of submission. Certifications: AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required. Must-Have: MUST HAVE 12 months permanent experience in the specialty applying for. MUST HAVE a permanent Ohio license or compact license in hand. An acceptable score on ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments during orientation is required. Traveler must work at least every other holiday. Description: Seeking Med/Surg Tele RN for internal medicine/telemetry unit. Potential to float to various units to care for the same patient population. Shift rotations include nights from 7pm to 7:30am and days from 7am to 7:30pm. Shifts may vary to meet operational needs. All scheduling information and shift details must be accurate and confirmed at the time of submission. References must come from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for. Certifications must be active and in hand. No co-worker references will be accepted. Background checks and license checks will be conducted, and travelers with any open cases will not be accepted. All other travelers (aside from specific exempt roles) must be nicotine-free. Negative drug screens required within 12 months of start and must be updated annually. Completion of required competencies is mandatory for those remaining on a continuous contract or returning within the next calendar year. Modules and assessments will need to be completed pre-start and annually. Failure to complete the required competencies will result in non-compliance.
