Production Worker - 1st Shift

General Production Worker We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking General Production Worker who will be responsible for handling finished food products and ensuring their quality. This role is essential in maintaining the efficiency and organization of our production line. Responsibilities Pick up finished food products from the end of the conveyor line. Stack and organize products on pallets, following company guidelines. Inspect products for quality and report any issues to the supervisor. Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) to ensure product safety and quality. Essential Skills 1+ year of General Production Experience Ability to lift 20-30 lbs regularly Experience with production, general labor, and pallet building Proficiency in inventory management and loading Additional Skills & Qualifications Comfortable working in an environment that may be warm or cold Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a refrigerated environment following GMP guidelines, which include wearing a hair net, beard net, smocks, steel toes, and a hard hat. The position involves a 1st Shift schedule from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime as needed. Products are handled at waist level, minimizing back strain, with pallets placed on spring lifters. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waukesha, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
