Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at our facility, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Facilitating Group Therapy: Lead engaging and therapeutic group sessions where clients can share experiences, learn from one another, and develop coping skills in a supportive atmosphere.

• Conducting Individual Therapy: Provide one-on-one counseling that is tailored to each client's unique needs, helping them explore their feelings, thoughts, and behaviors to foster personal insight and growth.

• Creating Treatment Plans: Work alongside clients to develop customized, goal-oriented treatment plans that reflect their aspirations and address their specific challenges, ensuring that care is personalized and effective.

• Monitoring Progress: Use assessment tools and ongoing feedback to evaluate clients' progress and outcomes, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet their evolving needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on young adults facing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. We operate a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) that emphasizes both evidence-based and holistic therapeutic approaches, providing a comprehensive care model that meets the diverse needs of our clients. Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate for this position will hold a Bachelor's Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field. Additionally, candidates must possess an active license as a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Virginia.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates with previous experience in outpatient mental health settings, working with young adults, and familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities. Experience in facilitating group therapy is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
