Established Civil Litigation Defense Firm Seeking NY Labor Law and No-Fault Litigation Attorney - New York, NYA well-established civil litigation defense firm with decades of experience and an active New York City presence is seeking an Attorney with experience in New York Labor Law defense, fire/casualty litigation, and/or no-fault insurance defense to join their New York team. This Attorney would defend contractors, property owners, and insurance carriers across a range of New York-specific litigation matters. This role offers a high-volume, complex litigation practice within a firm with a strong multi-state defense platform.Offer:$140,000 - $195,000 base salary, contingent on experience and practice focusPerformance-based bonus structureHealth, dental, and vision coverage401(k) retirement planHybrid remote flexibilityQualifications:Experience in one or more of the following: NY Labor Law defense including Section 240 and 241 claims, fire/casualty or property subrogation litigation, or New York no-fault insurance defenseFamiliarity with AAA no-fault arbitration proceedings a plusStrong litigation skills including depositions, motion practice, and court appearancesActive New York Bar license in good standingJuris Doctorate from an accredited law schoolResponsibilities:Managing a caseload across NY Labor Law defense, fire/casualty, and/or no-fault litigation mattersConducting depositions, site investigations, and drafting motions and pleadingsRepresenting clients in AAA arbitrations, court hearings, and mediationsAdvising clients on liability exposure, coverage positions, and litigation strategyCollaborating with partners and senior attorneys across the insurance defense practiceFor this position you must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
