Job Details Specialty: PCU Registered Nurse (Progressive Care Unit RN) Employment Type: Travel Nursing / Travel RN Assignment Length: 16 weeks Start Date: September 8, 2026 Schedule: 3 shifts per week Shift Duration: 12-hour nights Weekly Hours: 36 Orientation: 72 hours Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,940 - $2,040 Setting: Acute care PCU / hematology-focused unit Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics Location: Columbus, Ohio 43210 Job Requirements Active RN license in hand at time of submission Minimum 2 years of overall acute care nursing experience At least 1 year of recent Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience Current travel nurse experience required BLS and ACLS certification required Epic charting experience required Experience with telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation Strong background in IV therapy, blood product administration, and central line care Ability to work in a high-acuity environment with a strong focus on infection prevention and fall prevention Oncology or hematology nursing experience preferred, but not required Responsibilities Provide high-quality acute care for patients with acute leukemia and hematology-related conditions Monitor telemetry and respond appropriately to rhythm changes and patient concerns Administer IV therapy, blood products, and electrolyte support as ordered Manage peripheral and central lines, including PICC care and blood draws Support feeding tube care, rapid response coordination, and safe patient mobility Maintain a strong focus on infection prevention and fall prevention protocols Document care accurately in Epic and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members Float to other MedSurg Oncology units as needed Why Work This Travel RN Assignment?
