ABOUT ST. DAVID'S FOUNDATIONSt. David's Foundation is a community-focused and equity-driven organization supporting health and wellness in Central Texas. Beyond grantmaking, the Foundation operates the largest mobile dental program in the country, providing highly accessible, quality oral healthcare, and offers the largest healthcare scholarship program in Texas, the St. David's Neal Kocurek Scholarship Program. JOB PURPOSEThe Community Affairs Program Associate plays a central role in supporting the Foundation's community engagement and donor experience across key initiatives, including Toast of the Town, AgingWell, and the St. David's Neal Kocurek Scholarship Program.A key aspect of this role is to maintain and strengthen relationships with Toast of the Town stakeholders, including committee leadership, volunteers, hosts, sponsors, and donors. This role also supports the development of program materials and communications across initiatives. This position supports events and initiatives, ensuring they are well-executed and reflective of the Foundation's commitment to meaningful community impact. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESProject Management, Communications, and Donor Experience (90%)Event Experience and Execution (5%)Team Support/Other (5%) REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSBachelor 's degree.Minimum of one (1) year of experience in nonprofit, event management, communications, project coordination, development, or related work (internship experience may be considered).Experience with website platforms and design tools (e.g., Squarespace, Canva, or similar).Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSTwo (2) years of experience in nonprofit, event management, communications, project coordination, development, or related work.Experience working in a nonprofit or community-focused environment.Experience with database and event management systems (e.g., Salesforce, Cvent, Raiser's Edge NXT, or similar). See job description for full details about Responsibilities, Skills and Competencies, etc.
