Business Development & Staffing Specialist

Ascendo Resources is a Certified Minority Owned Staffing Firm, and our mission is to give our clients and candidates an advantage through industry expertise, local market knowledge, personal service, and speed to market. We are expanding in New Jersey and looking for a competitive, sales-driven Business Development person who thrives on prospecting, opening doors, and closing deals.

This is an opportunity for an entrepreneurial professional who wants to build a book of business, own their market, and drive revenue.

What You'll Do

• Hunt for new business through cold calling, networking, referrals, and strategic prospecting.
• Develop relationships with decision-makers and generate new staffing opportunities.
• Build and grow a profitable book of business.
• Manage client relationships and identify opportunities to expand accounts.
• Partner with recruiting teams and source talent to deliver staffing solutions.
• Cross-sell services across Accounting & Finance, HR, Administrative, and other business functions.

What We're Looking For

• Hunter mentality with a passion for sales and winning new business.
• Proven ability to prospect, build relationships, and close deals.
• Self-motivated, competitive, resilient, and results-oriented.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• 4+ years of sales, business development, and/or staffing agency experience preferred.
• Staffing industry experience is a strong plus.
