The Business Development Associate plays a crucial role in driving growth by supporting lead generation, client outreach, and relationship building initiatives. Working as an individual contributor within a dedicated business development team, this role supports sales efforts and focuses on acquiring new clients while also nurturing existing client relationships. Occasional travel to client sites is required, and the position reports to either the Business Development Manager, Marketing Manager, or Sales Director.
Responsibilities
- Generate and qualify new business leads
- Conduct client outreach to initiate and maintain contact
- Support the sales team with data, presentations, and follow-ups
- Manage customer information using CRM software
- Build and nurture strong client relationships to foster growth
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in business development
- Familiarity with CRM software
- Conducting market research
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Lead generation expertise
- Customer relationship management skills
- Effective problem-solving abilities
