As a Mechanic Supervisor, you will perform the following duties:Equipment Oversight: Manage inspection, repair, and maintenance work on vehicles and tools powered by gasoline or diesel enginesWork Direction: Assign tasks to mechanics and ensure accuracy of work orders, parts usage, and time reportingProblem Diagnosis: Guide mechanics in identifying complex equipment issues and selecting appropriate repair methodsSafety Management: Maintain a clean and safe work environment and promote proper safety proceduresStaff Supervision: Evaluate performance, approve leave, coach employees, and resolve daily work problemsFacility Support: Supervise shop staff and manage inventory, parts purchases, and specialized equipment needsInterested in learning more? Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:Four years of journey level mechanical experience in the diagnosis and repair of automobiles, heavy trucks, or construction equipment; or an equivalent combination of experience and training.Special Requirements:This position requires possession of a valid Class A or B Pennsylvania Commercial Driver's License (CDL).This position requires possession of an active Pennsylvania Class 4 or 7 Inspection Mechanic Certification.This position requires one year of experience or training in the repair or maintenance of diesel engines.Additional Requirements:This position requires possession of a valid Tank Vehicle Endorsement (N) by the first day of employment.This position requires possession of a valid Hazardous Materials Endorsement (H) within the probationary period.You must be able to perform essential job functions.How to Apply:Resumes, cover letters, and similar documents will not be reviewed, and the information contained therein will not be considered for the purposes of determining your eligibility for the position.
