Essential Functions

• Ensure ILCW/AAI team members are providing services per the approved program description on the Google Drive to meet the program objectives through session observations, direct service monitoring and supervisions. Each ILCW/AAI direct report is responsible for 352 hours annually of 1:1 independent living instruction and supervisors should be knowledgeable of assigned service levels. Each AAI direct report is responsible for 748 hours annually of 1:1 instruction and supervisors should be knowledgeable of assigned service levels.
• Monitor and review the completion and timeliness of all documentation and paperwork required as outlined in the AAI required paperwork document, the approved program descriptions, and YCOCYF policies. Ensure ILCW cases have safety checks and other paperwork completed in accordance with the PA Dept. of Human Services (DHS) Code and DHS Bulletins.
• Be the primary liaison between the Child Welfare supervisors and Valley Youth House ensuring regular communication and timely responses.
• Lead a motivated team that can work independently and make decisions with minimal direction by providing instructive and supportive supervision to direct reports 40 hours a year in a formal setting and running a weekly L10 team meeting per the L10 procedure.

Minimum Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Social Work or other related field. An Associates degree with extensive experience may be considered based on experience.
• One to Two years of experience supervising, mentoring or proven leadership abilities.
• Two or more years experience working with youth and young adults.
• A valid driver's license, a motor vehicle report that meets agency requirements and reliable transportation that can safely transport clients if needed.
• Ability to work a hybrid schedule that includes evenings.
• Ability to complete the pre-employment physical and drug test requirements.

Physical Requirements

• Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting. Constantly.
• Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds. Occasionally.
• Medium work that includes moving objects up to 50 pounds. Never.
