Post Market Surveillance Assistant

Our client, a leader in the medical device industry, is seeking a Post Market Surveillance Assistant to join their team. As a Post Market Surveillance Assistant , you will be part of the Quality Assurance Department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Post Market Surveillance Assistant 
Location: Remote (CST/EST)
Pay Range: $23-25/hr on W2
Contract: 6 Months, potential to extend

What's the Job?

• Collaborate with PMS Analysts to draft PMS plans and reports, ensuring accurate upload to databases and routing for review and approval.
• Participate in cross-functional PMS team meetings, tracking open items to ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Work with local and remote product teams to develop and maintain PMS documentation, including PMS Plans, reports, and Periodic Safety Update Reports.
• Ensure compliance with PMS schedules and create/maintain metric reports within the PMS system for review and analysis.
• Support the development of metrics and reports to monitor PMS activities and ensure regulatory compliance.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor’s degree with 1-2 years of work experience in Medical Devices or Pharmaceuticals, with exposure to Quality Assurance and/or Post Market Surveillance and cGMP and Medical Device Directives
• Knowledge of product complaints, clinical studies
• Knowledge of MDD and MDR requirements
• Knowledge of (ISO) standards (13485, 20416, and 14971)
• Understanding of CAPAs
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook, including charting and pivot tables.
• Experience collaborating with local and remote project teams within a global, matrixed organization.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
