CNC  Mill Operator |  Traveler’s Rest,  SC  |1 st   shift | $18 .00 - $24 .00 per hour | Monday - Friday  8 :00a m – 5 :00p m

Job Description

• Make offsets and change inserts during operation
• Ensure the CNC machine operates in accordance with the guidelines of the company
• Oversee the machines while they execute the tasks and make the necessary changes to produce improved results
• Check machinery on a daily basis to guarantee functionality
• Record all machine actions by completing production and quality logs
• Communicate logistics issues that arise in the process of creating a part
• Ensure that results of machining process align with client expectations
• Conduct regular CNC machine assessments

Job Qualifications

• Able to do basic mill set ups a plus
• Understand various CNC Mill controls
• Understand basic Okuma controls
• Capable of interpreting blueprints
• Capable of reading and using measuring instruments
• Smoke-free and phone-free environment (except during breaks or lunch)
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification required
• 2-3 years’ experience as a CNC Mill/Lathe Machine Operator preferred
• Experience with Fanuc Controls, Fadal, Doosan and Haas mills preferred
• Ability to efficiently read calipers
• Great attention to detail with a goal-driven attitude
• Strong comprehension and analytical abilities
• Forklift experience a plus
• Good computer and mathematical skills.

Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
