Reporting to the Director of Respiratory Therapy within the broader Pulmonary Medicine and cardiopulmonary service line, the Certified Respiratory Therapist will be supported by dedicated respiratory leads, educator resources, and collaborative physician partners, while working shoulder-to-shoulder with friendly nurses and a diverse healthcare professional team; day-to-day responsibilities for the Registered Respiratory Therapist may include ventilator management (invasive and noninvasive), high-flow oxygen therapy, ABG sampling and analysis, bronchodilator therapy, secretion clearance, bedside education, protocol-driven consults, participation in rounds, emergency airway response, and accurate documentation that supports quality, safety, and throughput.
