Registered Respiratory Therapist

Location: Berlin, VT

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 12-hour night shifts; every other weekend required.

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Berlin, VT. The ideal candidate will provide respiratory care for all age groups, including critical care patients, and will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments as per protocols.
• Manage ventilators in conjunction with Pulmonary Critical Care physicians and Hospitalist service.
• Implement RT driven protocols for bronchodilator therapy, hyperinflation, airway clearance, and NIV therapy.
• Perform external transports for adult critical care patients.
• Document patient care using Epic system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in respiratory therapy.
• Required certifications: RRT, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP.
• Experience in neonate and pediatric care (NICU/PICU experience preferred).
• EPIC experience from within the past 2 years is required.
