We are seeking an experienced, self-motivated Litigation Paralegal with personal injury insurance defense experience to join a dedicated insurance defense team.

The successful candidate will take ownership of projects and demonstrate a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills. The ability to manage multiple priorities and effectively meet deadlines is essential. Depending on caseload demands, this role may also include medical records review and management. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.

Job Responsibilities:

• Case management from inception through trial/settlement
• Draft pleadings, discovery, and routine correspondence
• Assist with the drafting, finalizing, filing and service of pleadings, discovery, and routine correspondence
• Obtain, review and analyze various records, reports, and other case materials
• Communicate with clients, attorneys, the courts, and opposing counsel
• Organize and maintain case files
• Perform legal research
• Proactively manage calendars
• Trial preparation as needed

Required experience & qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certificate.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a personal injury paralegal required.
• Insurance Defense experience required
• Medical records review experience a plus
• Understanding of state, federal, and appellate court rules, legal ethics, and professional practice standards.
• Proficiency with all Microsoft Office programs and applications.
