Centralized Scheduling Representative

We are looking for an enthusiastic and professional Centralized Scheduling Representative to join our growing team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for patients and will play a key role in creating a positive experience for them. You will greet patients, route calls, schedule appointments, process consults, register and schedule patients. Job Type: Full-time Essential Functions Professionally greet all patients. Register all new patients. Update established patient demographics. Accurately enter all insurance information. Schedule patient appointments for consultations, medical procedures, and follow-up visits. Process all incoming consultation requests – first and second calls to patients and return paperwork to the requesting physician office. Index consultation requests and external office records. Professionally handle patient complaints. Follow all policies and protocols of the Central Scheduling Manager, Clinical Manager, and Billing Director. Requirements At least one year of experience in a customer service environment, preferably a medical office. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Knowledge of GE‑athenaPractice management software beneficial but not required. Knowledge of Microsoft Office software beneficial but not required. Ability to operate a computer and basic office equipment. Ability to operate a multi‑line telephone system. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, team members, and other coworkers. Must be well organized and detail oriented.
