Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will be entrusted with a range of important responsibilities including:

• Assisting Physical Therapists in developing and executing tailored treatment plans aimed at enhancing patient mobility, strength, and functional abilities.
• Guiding patients through therapeutic exercises, stretches, and activities that promote physical rehabilitation and alleviate pain.
• Providing education to patients and their families on body mechanics, exercise techniques, and home exercise programs, promoting independence and self-management.
• Administering therapeutic modalities, such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy, under the supervision of licensed therapists.
• Monitoring and documenting patient progress meticulously, analyzing metrics like range of motion improvements and strength gains.
• Prepping treatment areas and ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are organized and readily available for efficient therapy sessions.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including Occupational Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists, to optimize treatment outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits
