Well Guard Physical Therapy Clinic is seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in our Tampa, Florida location. This full-time position provides the opportunity to work directly with patients to promote their recovery and ensure they regain optimal movement and functionality. Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite within our modern clinic, fostering a collaborative environment where healthcare professionals work together to enhance patient outcomes. Our dedicated team is focused on working one-on-one with patients in a supportive and encouraging atmosphere. The clinic is open Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a consistent work schedule that promotes a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify and understand patients' goals and specific needs upon initial consultation.
• Provide personalized treatment plans utilizing a range of techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and wellness-oriented programs.
• See an average of 2-3 patients per hour, ensuring each receives individualized and high-quality attention during their treatment sessions.
• Effectively evaluate progress and adjust care plans as necessary, ensuring ongoing communication with patients about their development.
• Motivate and support patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, helping them improve strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care and share insights for optimal patient outcomes.
• Document all patient care services in the EMR system, ensuring accurate record-keeping and compliance with industry standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Well Guard, you will primarily work with patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions affecting musculoskeletal function. This includes but is not limited to sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and conditions related to age and lifestyle. Our goal is to guide clients towards successful recovery and sustained health, thereby reducing dependency on medications and invasive procedural interventions.

Qualifications

• Valid Florida Physical Therapist License.
• Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• No history of board actions or disciplinary actions on your license.
• National Provider Identifier (NPI) number (or the ability to obtain one prior to employment).

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is strongly preferred.
• Strong manual therapy and exercise skills to effectively treat and motivate patients.
• Familiarity with EMR software, particularly WebPT, to enhance patient documenting and communication processes.
• Excellent teamwork abilities along with the capability to work independently when required.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $120,000 per year, with the opportunity to earn a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000.
