Work Environment

The successful candidate will work onsite in our outpatient office in Lutz, which is designed to promote collaboration among healthcare providers and ensure a seamless patient experience. Our operating hours are Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a structured work schedule conducive to work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations by reviewing patient histories, performing physical assessments, and determining the appropriate treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols effectively and confidently, adapting approaches based on each patient's response and progress.
• Document all aspects of patient care meticulously—this includes initial evaluations, daily progress notes, interim summaries, and discharge evaluations—ensuring compliance with clinical and corporate documentation standards.
• Participate actively in multidisciplinary consultations, recognizing when to seek further medical or rehabilitation assistance for patients.
• Engage in ongoing education and training, keeping abreast of changes in best practice standards and regulations in physical therapy.
• Effectively communicate with patients, healthcare professionals, and family members to maintain clear channels of information regarding treatment plans and progress.
• Attend team meetings and contribute ideas for improving patient care workflows and enhancing overall clinic performance.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on treating various orthopedic populations, including athletes recovering from injuries, post-surgical patients, and individuals with chronic pain. We deal with a wide range of conditions—from post-operative rehabilitation and sports injuries to general musculoskeletal disorders—allowing for a diverse clinical experience.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• A current and valid physical therapy license in the State of Florida.
• Certification in CPR; other relevant certifications in specialized rehabilitation techniques will be advantageous.

Preferred Experience

Candidates should have a minimum of two years of clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy settings. Familiarity with modern rehabilitation technologies, as well as treatment methodologies such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercise programs, and patient education strategies, is ideal.

Compensation and Benefits
