Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' objectives, limitations, and functional capacities, allowing for tailored therapy plans.
• Manage a caseload effectively, typically seeing one patient per hour, maximizing individual attention and customized care.
• Implement evidence-based treatment interventions that promote recovery and rehabilitation, utilizing diverse techniques and modalities.
• Create comprehensive care plans that incorporate various treatment strategies, focusing on reducing pain and enhancing mobility.
• Design individualized fitness and wellness programs aimed at improving strength, flexibility, and overall physical health.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and well-rounded patient care.
• Regularly evaluate treatment effectiveness, document patient progress, and communicate findings clearly with patients and team members.
• Encourage and motivate patients, guiding them towards achieving their rehabilitation goals and maintaining active, healthy lifestyles.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary patient demographic includes individuals with orthopedic conditions seeking rehabilitation for injuries, post-surgical recovery, and chronic pain management. We focus on providing high-quality care to patients who largely possess private medical insurance, allowing for a broad spectrum of therapeutic approaches tailored to their specific needs.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is a mandatory requirement.
• A valid Florida state license as a Physical Therapist, ensuring compliance with all legal and professional standards.
• Maintains a clean professional record, demonstrating ethical practice with no history of disciplinary actions against the license.
• Strong knowledge and application of manual therapy techniques, supported by hands-on practice.
• Exceptional ability in creating and implementing effective exercise protocols adapted to individual patient needs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as WebPT for efficient documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable, further enriching the skills required for this role.
• Proficiency in assessing a diverse range of movement disorders and developing suitable rehabilitation strategies.
• Experience in patient education and motivation techniques to facilitate the highest levels of patient engagement in their recovery process.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
