Our facility covers 5,000 square feet of advanced sports medicine space equipped with state-of-the-art technology and rehabilitation equipment. As a team of experienced professionals, we specialize mainly in treating patients with private medical insurance, ensuring that they receive comprehensive and personalized treatment plans. Our Physical Therapy practice is owned by licensed professionals who are invested in maintaining the highest standards of care.

Work Environment

You will be working in an engaging onsite rehabilitation facility located in the vibrant city of Tampa, Florida. The facility is designed to promote healing and recovery, featuring modern rehabilitation equipment and comfortable treatment spaces. The typical work schedule is from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a well-structured work-life balance. As part of a close-knit team comprised of two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), you will collaborate with dedicated colleagues to deliver exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute personalized treatment plans based on the unique goals and needs of each patient.
• Manage a patient caseload, typically handling one patient per hour, to ensure focused and individualized care.
• Implement a variety of manual therapy techniques and exercises to improve patients' range of motion and mobility.
• Monitor and document progress thoroughly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes for each patient.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide a cohesive approach to patient care and rehabilitation.
• Educate patients on the importance of a healthy lifestyle and wellness practices to support their recovery and prevent future injuries.
• Provide motivation and encouragement throughout the treatment process, helping patients achieve and exceed their rehabilitation goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will serve primarily include individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions that affect mobility. You will cater to a diverse clientele, necessitating a deep understanding of various orthopedic conditions. Empowering patients to regain independence and improved quality of life is at the core of our mission, and your contributions will be vital in achieving these outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Excellent professionalism with a clean disciplinary history in relation to your license.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and experience with orthopedic outpatient care.
• Demonstrated competence in designing and implementing dynamic exercise protocols based on patients' needs.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a private outpatient orthopedic setting is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated success in developing tailored fitness and wellness programs for patients is beneficial.
• Previous involvement in interdisciplinary collaboration to enhance patient care and treatment efficacy is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The offered salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
