We primarily work with private medical insurance carriers, ensuring that our patients receive tailored and effective treatment plans that focus on individual needs.

Work Environment

Our clinic offers a collaborative and supportive team environment where professional development is encouraged. As a Physical Therapist at Well Guard, you will work onsite Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, engaging directly with your patients and fellow healthcare team members in a dynamic outpatient setting designed for optimal recovery and rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on comprehensive patient assessments.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and exercise prescription, to enhance patients' mobility and prevent further injury.
• Collaborate with other allied health professionals to optimize treatment approaches for multidisciplinary care.
• Monitor and document patient progress regularly, communicating any changes in condition to both patients and the healthcare team.
• Educate patients on their treatment plans, set realistic goals, and motivate them to adhere to their therapies for optimal outcomes.
• Conduct one-on-one therapy sessions with 2-3 patients per hour, ensuring focused and high-quality care tailored to each individual.
• Promote healthy lifestyle choices by providing guidance on exercise, nutrition, and self-management strategies.
• Engage in continuous improvement practices by utilizing patient feedback and evaluating treatment efficacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic patients seeking rehabilitation post-injury or surgery. You will work closely with individuals recovering from various musculoskeletal conditions, including joint replacements, fractures, sports injuries, and chronic pain syndromes. Your efforts will directly contribute to restoring their mobility and independence.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Master's of Physical Therapy (MPT) or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree.
• Active Florida Physical Therapist License with no board actions or disciplinary actions.
• Possession of or ability to obtain a National Provider Identifier (NPI) number prior to employment.
• Strong manual therapy skills and a solid understanding of therapeutic exercises.

Preferred Experience

• Experience specifically in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly preferred.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records systems, particularly WebPT, is an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a robust salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
