Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to understand their specific needs and develop tailored treatment plans aimed at restoring mobility and function.
• Manage an individual patient caseload, typically one patient per hour, ensuring that each patient receives focused and personalized attention throughout their therapy sessions.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver high-quality, cost-effective treatments that aim to reduce the need for medications and the likelihood of surgical interventions.
• Design and implement tailored fitness and wellness regimens that cater to each patient's specific rehabilitation goals.
• Proactively collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and positive patient outcomes.
• Maintain clear and thorough documentation of all patient interactions and progress in alignment with organizational standards.
• Motivate, educate, and support patients throughout their recovery journey to enhance their functional capabilities and encourage a healthier lifestyle.
• Regularly evaluate treatment effectiveness by monitoring progress and adjusting care plans as necessary to optimize recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on patients recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries. You will work closely with individuals of varying ages who are striving to regain their mobility and achieve their rehabilitation goals. Your expertise in physical therapy will be crucial in delivering effective treatment strategies tailored to each patient's unique needs, enhancing their quality of life and functionality.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Impeccable professional record with no disciplinary actions against your license.
• Strong proficiency in various manual therapy techniques and exceptional competence in developing effective exercise protocols.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working specifically in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable.
• A track record of successfully implementing individualized rehabilitation plans that result in improved patient outcomes.
• Familiarity with contemporary physical therapy practices and an eagerness to stay updated on new methodologies and advancements in the field.

Compensation and Benefits
