Key Responsibilities

• Develop individualized treatment plans for patients focused on preventing disability, relieving pain, and enhancing muscle function, ensuring alignment with prescribed medical protocols.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities through diagnostic methods, adapting therapy plans accordingly to promote optimal recovery.
• Oversee the implementations of treatment by physical therapy assistants, ensuring adherence to care plans and quality standards.
• Administer manual therapeutic exercises, instructing and motivating patients in functional activities to develop strength and mobility.
• Utilize advanced therapeutic modalities such as traction and massage, tailoring these techniques to meet individual patient needs.
• Regularly assess and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices, collaborating with physicians to recommend modifications that enhance patient functionality.
• Document clinical evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries to ensure accurate patient records and facilitate ongoing care planning.
• Actively participate in interdisciplinary case conferences, sharing insights and strategies for comprehensive client treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid Physical Therapy license in good standing in the state of Florida.
• Current CPR certification and a valid driver's license along with appropriate automobile insurance.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for the Orthopedic Physical Therapist position is competitive, starting from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
