Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patients' objectives and tailor care plans that align with their recovery goals.
• Manage an individualized caseload, providing focused attention and care to each patient during scheduled sessions.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques to alleviate pain and enhance movement capabilities.
• Design and implement personalized exercise protocols aimed at improving strength and increasing mobility.
• Monitor patient progress diligently through regular evaluations and adjust treatment strategies as necessary.
• Educate patients on strategies to prevent injury, manage pain effectively, and foster a healthy lifestyle.
• Utilize WebPT EMR Software for maintaining accurate and thorough documentation of treatment sessions and outcomes.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals, including referring physicians, to ensure a multifaceted approach to patient care.
• Enhance patient experiences by providing motivational support and maintaining open communication throughout the treatment process.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients dealing with orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical recovery, injury rehabilitation, and chronic pain management. Our practice serves a diverse clientele, primarily covered by private medical insurance, allowing us to provide high-quality individualized care without the constraints often associated with higher patient volumes.

Qualifications

• Possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Hold a valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Maintain a clean professional record with no disciplinary actions against your license.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription.
• Experience with WebPT EMR software is highly desirable.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly preferred, ensuring you are familiar with the scope of care we provide.
• Strong background in developing fitness and wellness programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Exceptional communication skills to foster patient engagement and trust.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience.
