Innovative Movement Rehab & Wellness Center in Tampa, Florida, is actively seeking a dedicated and qualified Full-Time Orthopedic Physical Therapist. Work Environment

Our Tampa facility boasts a spacious 5,000 square-foot sports medicine area equipped with the latest rehabilitation technologies and resources. As part of a small, dedicated team of two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant, you will collaborate closely to provide personalized care in an onsite setting from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. Our practice model encourages teamwork, communication, and a clinically driven approach to improving patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to identify patients' needs, set measurable goals, and formulate tailored treatment plans that promote recovery and functional improvement.
• Effectively manage a caseload, meeting with one patient per hour, ensuring both thorough assessments and personalized interventions during each session.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and exercise protocols designed to reduce pain and enhance mobility.
• Provide educational resources and motivate patients to actively participate in their rehabilitation process, fostering independence and self-management.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care while promoting best practices in treatment.
• Document patient care accurately in accordance with industry standards and facility protocols, ensuring continuity of care and compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Regularly assess and reevaluate treatment effectiveness, making necessary adjustments based on patient progress and feedback.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals with orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain issues. We take pride in serving patients covered by private medical insurance, ensuring they receive the personalized care they need to improve their quality of life and regain optimal function.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid Florida physical therapy license in good standing, with no disciplinary actions on record.
• Proven expertise in manual therapy and a solid understanding of orthopedic rehabilitation principles.
• Ability to create and implement effective exercise regimens tailored to individual patient needs.
• Experience with WebPT EMR software is advantageous for efficient record-keeping and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in an outpatient orthopedic setting, demonstrating familiarity with various treatment modalities and assessment techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to build rapport with patients while encouraging adherence to prescribed rehabilitation plans.
• A proactive approach to professional development and continuing education in physical therapy practices.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
