Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our Tampa location within a spacious rehabilitation center designed for optimal patient comfort and therapy effectiveness. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' functional limitations and set measurable treatment goals.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focusing on improved mobility, strength, and functionality.
• Provide evidence-based interventions, including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy techniques, and patient education.
• Manage a consistent caseload of patients, ensuring personalized attention by evaluating one patient per hour.
• Motivate and empower patients throughout their recovery journey, focusing on enhancing their overall health and lifestyle.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment specifics in compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational guidelines.
• Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals — including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff — to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Monitor treatment progress and adapt strategies as necessary to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize WebPT EMR software for effective management of patient records and health data.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Fit Movement, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic pain conditions. Our diverse client base includes active individuals of all ages, from athletes to seniors, who are motivated to improve their functional capabilities and return to their daily activities with confidence. Your role will be critical in guiding these patients through their rehabilitation process, addressing both physical and psychological barriers to recovery.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current and valid Florida state license as a Physical Therapist.
• A strong commitment to maintaining a clean professional record, with no history of disciplinary actions against the license.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the formulation of tailored exercise protocols.
• Competency in utilizing WebPT EMR Software for efficient record-keeping and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Familiarity with sports medicine protocols and agility training techniques.
• Experience in developing community outreach programs that promote wellness and preventive care.

Compensation and Benefits

Fit Movement offers a competitive salary within the range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
