Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of each patient to develop individualized treatment plans in accordance with the physician's recommendations.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions across various specialties like orthopedics, pediatrics, neurology, and sports medicine.
• Provide skilled therapeutic care in our facility and through potential home visits, utilizing a variety of techniques and modalities to improve patient function and independence.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure successful outcomes.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance the overall patient experience.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to maximize patient outcomes and promote best practices in care.
• Educate and train patients and their caregivers on therapy techniques and home exercises to support ongoing recovery.
• Achieve minimum utilization and performance goals to contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of the facility.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will have the privilege of working with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, children requiring developmental support, neurological patients needing rehabilitation, and athletes looking to improve performance. Your interventions will be pivotal in helping each patient regain mobility, restore function, and achieve their personal health goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program, preferably one recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) or Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
• Valid State License in Physical Therapy.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Effective oral and written communication skills to interact with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Proficiency in word processing and basic computer skills for documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient rehabilitation settings, with a focus on orthopedic cases.
• Familiarity with current modalities and treatment techniques specific to physical therapy.

Compensation and Benefits
