Work Environment

At Well Guard, you will be working in a collaborative outpatient setting where team-oriented care is encouraged. The office operates Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, fostering a healthy work-life balance. As a Physical Therapist, you will see 2 to 3 patients per hour, providing personalized care in a supportive environment. Key Responsibilities

• Assess and identify each patient's goals and unique physical therapy needs, establishing a customized treatment plan to maximize recovery.
• Implement a range of therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy techniques, exercises, and modalities aimed at improving patient mobility and function.
• Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on clinical observations and outcomes.
• Document services rendered and maintain accurate patient records using EMR software such as WebPT, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Communicate regularly with patients and their families, providing education on the recovery process, home exercise programs, and lifestyle modifications to support overall health.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to enhance continuity of care and improve patient outcomes.
• Promote wellness and preventive health strategies through specialized fitness programs designed to enhance strength, flexibility, and coordination for diverse client profiles.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves adults with orthopedic conditions, including postoperative recovery, sports-related injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal issues. We focus on delivering tailored treatment programs that address not just the physical rehabilitation but also the emotional and psychological aspects of recovery, ensuring that each client feels supported throughout their journey.

Qualifications

• A Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is required.
• Full licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida, with no disciplinary actions on your record.
• A National Provider Identifier (NPI) number or the ability to obtain one prior to employment.
• Strong manual therapy skills and proficiency in implementing exercise-based interventions.
• Willingness and capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in utilizing EMR software for effective patient management.
• Experience in developing and leading fitness and wellness programs is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
