Work Environment

This role will be performed onsite in our Tampa outpatient facility, a hub of modern therapy resources where teamwork thrives. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments, including reviewing patient histories, performing specific evaluations, and developing individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments.
• Clearly communicate evaluation results and treatment strategies to patients and their families, actively involving them in goal-setting processes.
• Execute treatment protocols effectively, adapting to the evolving healthcare environment and patient presentations.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care, documenting changes in patient conditions and modifying care plans as necessary.
• Manage discharge planning and follow-up care, ensuring timely and accurate documentation of patient activities, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge evaluations.
• Demonstrate effective time management skills by meeting productivity targets and maintaining an organized schedule.
• Participate in community outreach and marketing initiatives to enhance the visibility of our services.
• Contribute to department goals, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and quality standards.

• Provide exceptional customer service, fostering access to care through adaptability and proactive engagement in access initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, geriatric patients, and individuals with chronic pain. Your expertise will help patients regain mobility, independence, and improve their overall quality of life. By focusing on personalized care plans that align with each patient's goals, you will make a meaningful impact on their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• A high school diploma or GED is also necessary.
• Licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida is required; candidates must provide proof of licensure.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association is mandatory.

Preferred Experience

• While a minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical outpatient setting is preferred, candidates with a strong educational background and a passion for patient care are encouraged to apply.
