Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on each client's evaluation and specific therapeutic needs.
• Direct all aspects of physical therapy practice towards preventing disabilities, alleviating pain, improving mobility, and fostering optimal recovery.
• Introduce evidence-based practices and innovative rehabilitation techniques to achieve desired outcomes for clients.
• Oversee and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants, ensuring they adhere to the designated treatment protocols.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients' functional capabilities, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and assessments.
• Evaluate and recommend necessary modifications to the home environment to support ongoing rehabilitation and independence.
• Engage clients in therapeutic exercises, providing hands-on guidance, motivation, and support to enhance their rehabilitation process.
• Document and maintain accurate clinical records, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, in accordance with professional and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to assess and modify treatment plans as needed, continually reassessing client progress.
• Provide education and support to clients and their families on management strategies, therapeutic devices, and home exercise programs.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution, with a current and valid physical therapy license in Florida.

• Proficiency in documenting care accurately and efficiently, staying compliant with federal and state regulations.
