Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite, allowing the Physical Therapist to provide hands-on care within patients' homes, thus creating a comfortable environment tailored to individual needs. The role involves working in collaboration with fellow healthcare professionals to implement holistic approaches that advance patient outcomes. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, fostering a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients' needs comprehensively to develop effective, individualized treatment plans.
• Administer therapeutic interventions aimed at improving patients' range of motion, strength, flexibility, and overall mobility.
• Conduct one-on-one therapy sessions, managing a caseload of one patient per hour to ensure focused and attentive care.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities to enhance treatment outcomes and optimize patient recovery.
• Encourage active participation from patients in their treatment processes, providing guidance and motivation for achieving health milestones.
• Document patient progress accurately and maintain detailed records of services provided, adhering to compliance and quality standards.
• Work collaboratively with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare team members to refine treatment plans and strategies.
• Monitor patient progress, reassess treatment plans as necessary, and report changes to stakeholders.
• Encourage the adoption of a healthy lifestyle through education on wellness programs designed specifically for each patient.
• Remain current with industry developments and methodologies through continuous learning and professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The successful candidate will work primarily with individuals recovering from orthopedic conditions, including post-operative patients, individuals with sports injuries, and chronic pain sufferers. Many of our patients possess private medical insurance, allowing for comprehensive treatments tailored to their unique rehabilitation journeys.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program; Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.
• Avalid state license as a Physical Therapist in Florida, with no record of board or disciplinary actions.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques, as well as experience in implementing effective exercise programs.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, specifically WebPT or similar platforms.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations.
• Demonstrated commitment to ongoing learning and adaptation of new techniques in physical therapy.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Experience working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team.
• Background in developing and conducting wellness and fitness programs suitable for various client needs.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary range of USD 130,000 to 140,000 annually, reflecting the experience and expertise of the candidate.
