Work Environment

As a member of our rehabilitation center, you will work in a supportive and collaborative atmosphere. The facility is designed to foster recovery and enhance functional movements with dedicated spaces for both therapy and exercise. Your typical work schedule will be Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM. We value teamwork and maintain open lines of communication among our staff to ensure a seamless patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations to assess individual needs and establish objective treatment goals.
• Manage and treat a caseload of one patient per hour, allowing for focused and personalized care.
• Implement effective, cost-efficient treatment plans aimed at reducing pain and enhancing mobility.
• Utilize non-surgical options to help patients manage conditions and reduce dependence on medications.
• Develop comprehensive care regimens that incorporate various therapeutic techniques and modalities.
• Create customized fitness and wellness programs for each patient, aligning with their goals and needs.
• Motivate patients throughout the recovery process, advocating for lifestyle changes that encourage strength and mobility.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure complete and effective care for each patient.
• Monitor and evaluate treatment outcomes, documenting progress, and making necessary adjustments to care plans.
• Deliver ongoing education to patients and families regarding injury prevention, rehabilitation, and healthy living.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients suffering from orthopedic conditions, including post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal disorders. Our clientele predominantly consists of individuals with private medical insurance, allowing for a range of resources aimed at optimizing recovery outcomes.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Possession of a valid Florida Physical Therapist license.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and interdisciplinary teams.
• A clean professional record with no disciplinary actions against the license.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription methodologies.
• Experience using WebPT EMR Software to maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly regarded.
• Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing both postoperative and preventive care plans.
• Ability to quickly adapt treatment plans based on patient responses and emerging clinical evidence.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary between USD 80,000 and 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
