Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and supervise physical therapy treatment plans aimed at preventing disabilities and relieving pain, while enhancing muscle functionality aligned with each client's capabilities.
• Provide thorough evaluations of clients through techniques that assess muscle, nerve, joint, and functional abilities, tailoring treatments accordingly.
• Oversee and guide physical therapy assistants to ensure the effective application of prescribed treatment plans.
• Administer manual therapies, therapeutic exercises, and various treatments, including traction and massage, while encouraging clients to engage in their rehabilitation activities actively.
• Evaluate the home environment for rehabilitation needs, making actionable recommendations to enhance client independence.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary meetings, sharing insights and strategies to optimize treatment efficacy that supports both patients and the overall team's objectives.
• Document patient evaluations, care plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately, maintaining comprehensive clinical records as required.
• Provide education to clients and their families concerning the management of physical therapy devices and their rehabilitation program.
• Conduct functional assessments on-site and engage in the regular review and adjustment of care plans as necessary.
• Eagerly contribute to the team's collaborative efforts by completing additional duties or assignments as needed to support the organization's goals.

This role will center around a diverse clientele, including individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and those with chronic conditions affecting mobility. Qualifications

• A graduate of an accredited physical therapy program with a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy.
• At least one (1) year of relevant experience as a physical therapist in an acute care or home care setting.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in Florida is required.
• Current CPR certification and a valid driver's license with automobile insurance are necessary.
• Demonstrated ability to make informed decisions and take ownership of your actions in a clinical setting.
• Creative problem-solving skills that support innovative patient solutions and clinical excellence.
• You must possess a collaborative mindset, motivated to work harmoniously within an interdisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in orthopedic rehabilitation and a commitment to maintaining high clinical standards are preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 50,000 to 80,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
