Core Motion Orthopedic Therapy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our team in Tampa, Florida. Our small team of physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant work closely together to cultivate a collaborative treatment atmosphere that promotes healing and recovery.

Work Environment

The work environment at Core Motion is dynamic and engaging, with an onsite rehabilitation facility where therapists actively treat patients in a collaborative, hands-on manner. Your standard work schedule will be Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, allowing you to maintain a balanced professional and personal life. You will be part of a close-knit team comprised of two physical therapists and one PTA, where continuous learning and patient care excellence are our top priorities. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patient needs and formulate individualized care plans.
• Manage a caseload of patients, typically seeing one patient per hour, allowing for focused and personalized treatment.
• Utilize a variety of treatment modalities, including manual therapy and tailored exercise programs, to facilitate patient recovery.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, leveraging EMR software such as WebPT for efficient record-keeping.
• Educate patients on exercises and wellness strategies to empower them in their recovery journey.
• Inspire and motivate patients, fostering a positive mindset toward rehabilitation and wellness.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to create comprehensive care pathways for patients.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes regularly, adjusting care plans as necessary to optimize patient recovery.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to stay updated with the latest treatment techniques and practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role as a Physical Therapist will focus primarily on treating patients with orthopedic concerns, including post-operative rehabilitation, recovery from sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our clientele ranges from active individuals to those requiring more specialized care, ensuring a varied and enriching experience in your daily practice. This diverse patient population allows you to apply a broad spectrum of therapeutic techniques, contributing to a fulfilling work experience.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Impeccable professional record with no previous board or disciplinary actions.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques along with solid competence in exercise protocol development.
• Experience using EMR software, particularly WebPT, for streamlined patient documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to design effective fitness and wellness programs tailored to diverse patient needs.

Compensation and Benefits
