Key Responsibilities

• Direct and implement physical therapy treatment plans aimed at preventing disability, relieving pain, restoring muscle function, and promoting maximum performance.
• Evaluate clients using diagnostic and functional assessments to establish a tailored rehabilitation plan.
• Conduct home evaluations to suggest modifications that enhance client independence and safety.
• Administer therapeutic exercises, motivate clients in functional activities, and apply physical agents for treatment.
• Oversee and guide Physical Therapy Assistants in delivering effective care according to established guidelines.
• Maintain accurate clinical records, including evaluations, care plans, and progress notes in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Engage in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and modify care plans as necessary.
• Consult and educate clients and their families about physical therapy techniques and device usage.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT).
• Current and valid Physical Therapy licensure in the state of Florida.
• Current CPR certification and valid driver's license with automobile insurance.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of two years' experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in a rehabilitation or home healthcare setting, is required. Ideal candidates will demonstrate a commitment to clinical excellence, possess excellent communication skills, and have a track record of leadership and collaboration within a team.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
