Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients, assessing their physical abilities and limitations.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on individual patient needs, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic practices.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities that may include manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and neuromuscular re-education to maximize functional outcomes.
• Continuously monitor and document patient progress during and after treatment sessions, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families about home exercises, injury prevention strategies, and self-management techniques to enhance recovery and maintain optimal health.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure that all aspects of patient care are integrated and coordinated effectively, contributing to improved patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients range from those recovering from surgery and sports injuries to individuals managing chronic pain or neurological disorders. You will primarily work with adults, but the diversity of our clientele means your expertise will benefit a wide demographic, allowing you to apply your skills in various therapeutic contexts.

Qualifications

• Active licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Master's or Doctorate degree is preferred.
