Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed evaluations to assess residents' physical capabilities, identifying treatment needs and establishing baseline measurements for progress tracking.
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans targeting specific rehabilitation goals, such as pain relief, mobility improvement, and strength enhancement.
• Administer various therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and neuromuscular re-education.
• Continuously monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment methods based on active feedback and outcomes to optimize recovery.
• Educate patients and their families on exercise programs and health maintenance strategies for promoting physical well-being and independence.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care and maintain high standards of practice.
• Ensure adherence to state and federal regulations regarding physical therapy practices, safeguarding the highest level of care and ethical treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work primarily with orthopedic patients who require rehabilitation following injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions. This may include elderly residents with arthritis, joint replacements, sports-related injuries, and other musculoskeletal disorders. Your skills will help patients regain their strength, mobility, and functional independence, significantly impacting their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• A valid and current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; while a Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of professional experience in physical therapy, preferably in settings such as home care or skilled nursing facilities.

Compensation and Benefits
