Revitalize Wellness Physical Therapy Clinic is seeking a dedicated and experienced Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in Tampa, Florida. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to provide in-home care for patients recovering from orthopedic issues, improving their quality of life through tailored therapy programs. Work Environment

This position is predominantly onsite at the patient's home, allowing for personalized, direct interaction in a comfortable setting. Our home care model is designed to meet various patient needs, from post-surgical rehabilitation to chronic pain management. As part of our team, you'll engage with patients in their own environments, observing their daily activities and making real-time adjustments to their therapy based on their unique living situations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their functional limitations and devise tailored treatment plans to address specific needs following orthopedic procedures.
• Provide one-on-one in-home therapy sessions, effectively utilizing therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and patient education techniques to promote recovery.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care and help guide patient progress through appropriate interventions.
• Maintain meticulous records of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with all relevant regulations and professional standards.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, pain management strategies, and effective exercises to maintain mobility post-therapy.
• Actively participate in departmental meetings and continuous education opportunities to enhance clinical skills and professional growth.
• Oversee and mentor support staff as needed to ensure excellent patient care and adherence to organizational protocols.
• Engage in community outreach initiatives aimed at promoting health and wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our ideal candidate will work with a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, or experiencing chronic orthopedic conditions. Understanding the unique needs of each patient is critical, as therapy plans will be customized according to their everyday challenges and lifestyle.

Qualifications

• The candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist is a requirement.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with proficiency in electronic medical record systems.
• In-depth knowledge of best practices and rehabilitation techniques specific to orthopedic physical therapy.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience in orthopedic rehabilitation is required, candidates with advanced training in specialties such as manual therapy, sports rehabilitation, or geriatric care are highly preferred. Experience in a home health setting may also provide a competitive edge, as will familiarity with patient management software and telehealth platforms.
