Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Directing comprehensive physical therapy treatments to relieve pain, prevent disability, and restore muscle function in accordance with individualized care plans.
• Overseeing physical therapy assistants to ensure the effective implementation of treatment protocols.
• Performing thorough evaluations of clients' physical abilities through the application of diagnostic tests related to muscle, nerve, joint function, and overall capabilities.
• Conducting home evaluations to assess the appropriateness of rehabilitation environments and provide recommendations that enhance clients' independence.
• Administering therapeutic exercises and instructing clients in physical activities that promote recovery and wellness.
• Documenting clinical records, including evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries for every client, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Participating actively in interdisciplinary team meetings, contributing insights on comprehensive treatment strategies tailored to individual clients.
• Instructing and supporting the client's family and caregivers in implementing the therapy program and managing assistive devices.
• Completing ongoing assessments and adjustments to each client's care plan in line with their progress and needs.

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits
