Well Guard Physical Therapy Clinic is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist specializing in orthopedics to join our Tampa, Florida team. In this full-time, onsite role, you will partner with patients on their journey to restore movement, alleviate pain, and achieve their personal best functionality. Our state-of-the-art facility spans 5,000 square feet and is equipped to handle a wide range of sports medicine and rehabilitation needs. Work Environment

This position is located onsite at our advanced sports medicine facility in Tampa. The physical therapy setting fosters an encouraging atmosphere that emphasizes teamwork and collaboration among healthcare professionals, including physicians and other therapists, to deliver exceptional patient care. Our full-time Physical Therapists typically work from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and address patients' goals and requirements through a comprehensive assessment process.
• Manage a patient caseload of 2-3 patients per hour, providing personalized rehabilitation approaches.
• Develop and implement effective treatment strategies, including cost-effective interventions that enhance mobility and minimize the need for medications and surgical options.
• Create individualized care plans utilizing advanced therapeutic techniques and evidence-based practices.
• Design wellness and fitness programs tailored to improve patients' strength, balance, flexibility, and overall well-being.
• Motivate patients during their therapy sessions, ensuring they remain engaged and encouraged throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Consult regularly with other health professionals and coordinate care strategies.
• Monitor patient progress, evaluate treatment effectiveness, and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Document patient interactions and treatment progress meticulously in our electronic medical records (EMR) system.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on orthopedic outpatient care, serving a diverse patient population with various musculoskeletal conditions. As a Physical Therapist at Well Guard, you will work collaboratively to create tailored plans that address individual recovery goals while encouraging optimal function and independence.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is highly favorable.
• A valid Florida Physical Therapist License, with no board disciplinary actions.
• Certification of a National Provider Identifier (NPI) number or the ability to acquire one before employment.
• Strong manual therapy skills and proficiency in therapeutic exercises.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
• A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care and adhering to professional ethics.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with EMR software such as WebPT to facilitate thorough documentation and efficient patient management.
• A track record of developing innovative treatment plans that align with patient needs and clinic protocols.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
