Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans based on detailed assessments and patient needs, ensuring that each patient's therapy program is tailored to maximize their recovery.
• Utilize hands-on therapy techniques such as manual therapy and therapeutic exercises. For instance, you may apply specialized mobilization techniques to facilitate recovery for patients following orthopedic surgeries.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, providing reports that reflect each patient's treatment outcomes and adjustments made to protocols as needed.
• Engage in regular communication with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to discuss patient progress and home exercise programs, ensuring continuity of care and adherence to therapeutic strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will interact primarily with a diverse patient population that includes individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, or chronic musculoskeletal conditions. You will be responsible for working with both post-operative patients and those rehabilitating from acute injuries, which often entails navigating complex pain management and mobility restoration scenarios.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida, ensuring compliance with state regulations and practice standards.
• A minimum of three years of experience in physical therapy, specifically within an orthopedic or rehabilitation setting.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and the ability to connect empathetically with patients.
• Strong clinical judgment and the competency to work both independently and collaboratively, managing patient care with confidence.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience.
